Our Commitment To Purposeful Innovation

At Patterson Elementary, our K–2 technology deployment is defined by intentionality and purpose. We actively reshape the early childhood screen time narrative by shifting the student experience away from passive content consumption and into multimodal content creation. Guided by research-backed instructional design, our young learners use iPads to construct math number stories, make their individual thinking visible, and share their unique understandings safely with our global community.

+16.4%

GROWTH IN
STUDENT CREATION

Our multi-year Learning Technologies Survey (LTS) data proves our framework works—independent student multimedia Keynote composition jumped from 20.5% in 2024 to 36.9% in 2026.

AI-DRIVEN

INSTRUCTIONAL ARCHITECTURE

We pioneer purposeful AI workflows by using our custom-engineered K-2 Apple Innovation Partner Gem to mastermind and construct multimodal math, geometry, and storytelling mats.

1:1 Story of Impact

Featured Spotlight: Age is Not a Barrier to Impact

Our one-to-one implementation has fundamentally shifted our impact on equity and accessibility. Using built-in features like Dictation and Speak Selection, our English Language Learners and students with IEPs participate fully in core instruction alongside their peers.

Research-driven data from our math apps shows an increase in math mastery. Beyond the classroom, we impact our community by sharing digital student assignments via Seesaw with families, bridging the home-school gap. Our students regularly use their devices to solve real-world problems and celebrate creativity.

Our Core Vision

INSPIRE

INSPIRING CREATIVITY & LEADING INNOVATION

Patterson inspires creativity and leadership by anchoring our learning environment in a school-wide “Creator-First” mentality.

We actively move our youngest learners beyond passive technological absorption into the realm of dynamic media creation.

By teaching students to record, document, and independently share their discoveries, we instill a lasting confidence that proves leadership and academic agency do not have an age requirement.

IMAGINE

FOSTERING PRIDE & NEW POSSIBILITIES

We foster deep PRIDE by modeling a tech-integrated culture where students are empowered to solve challeneges and imagine bold solutions.

Using native creation workspaces like Keynote and Freeform, early learners are given creative freedom to reimagine story narratives and collaborate seamlessly across teams.

This supportive approach allows our students to confidently design, iterate, and dream without the fear of mistakes.

IMPACT

EMPOWERING DIVERSE LEARNERS & REAL-WORLD ENGAGEMENT

We empower all learners through intentional technology deployment to make a measurable impact on accessibility and inclusion.

Utilizing powerful built-in accessibility tools like Dictation and Speak Selection, all students are able to be fully interated into core daily instruction.

Backed by real-world enagagement and research-driven success, we bridge the gap between classroom curiousity and community impact by sharing dynamic student-created outcomes directly with families.

Systemic Professional Learning

Custom badging pathways and collaborative coaching loops drive continuous, daily instructional execution campus-wide.

Multimodal Expression

Leveraging Freeform’s infinite canvas to amplify student voice and creative storytelling across early childhood environments.
